Florence Pass Project
The Wyoming Conservation Corp. will be doing trail work
on a section of trail near Florence Pass that has had
rock slide activity and is in need of repair.
Our club will be
participating by providing the personnel, stock and
expertise to pack the supplies for the 10 member crew of the
Conservation Corp. who will be doing the trail work. Club
members will meet with the work crew at the Hunter Work
Center (Satellite
view) on Sunday, July
20th @ 5:00pm to go over the logistics of the packing
and the needed stock.
On Monday morning, July 21st, the volunteer club
members will pack all the gear and pack it into the
proposed site for the crew at Medicine Park.
On Tuesday, July 29th, the club will again be involved
with bringing the crew's supplies back.
It is expected that there will be 5-6 riders from the
club and another 6-9 pack animals to get the job done.
